Overview: We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team and drive the growth of our service marketplace. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients, managing relationships with service providers, and ensuring the smooth operation of sales processes within the platform. You will work closely with our marketing and operations teams to expand our marketplace presence and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development:
    Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth targets and expand the marketplace's customer base.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting:
    Identify and engage potential service providers and clients, including reaching out to new leads, qualifying prospects, and converting them into long-term customers.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention. Address any concerns or issues to strengthen loyalty.
  • Negotiation and Deal Closure:
    Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with service providers and clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with marketplace objectives.
  • Market Analysis:
    Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to recommend new features or services that can enhance the marketplace's value proposition.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    Track sales performance, analyze key metrics, and report on progress against sales targets. Provide feedback and insights to the management team.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:
    Collaborate with the marketing, operations, and customer support teams to ensure smooth onboarding of service providers and customers and optimize the overall customer journey.
  • Training and Support:
    Train and mentor junior sales team members, providing guidance on best practices and marketplace-specific sales tactics.
  • Sales Reporting and Documentation:
    Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including client interactions, deals closed, and performance metrics in the CRM.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role, preferably in a service marketplace or B2B/B2C sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales performance tracking tools.
  • A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in developing and executing sales strategies.
